Job Purpose:
Solicits and markets complex cross-border commercial banking products to clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Provides commercial loans to bank clients according to the established business objectives.
Calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and expand or retain existing business.
Interviews prospective clients to collect information concerning their business needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine whether a loan is an acceptable risk.
Evaluates the financial condition of the clients, the value of pledged collateral, and the clients management effectiveness and competency.
Makes recommendations on loans and terms to Team Head.
Monitors quality of existing accounts.
Verifies the assigned accounts and ensures they conform to contract and policy limits.
Ensures the completion of documents and data required.
Identifies unfavorable trends and recommends corrective action.
Conducts market trend and competitor analysis relating to cross-border banking products.
Participates in developing the cross-border banking products.
Recommends and implements strategic planning and pricing to improve profitability
Coordinate and support enquires from DSB China and branches on cross-border businesses
Incumbent Requirements:
University degree, preferably MBA, with minimum 7 years experience in trade financing and commercial lending. Requires broad knowledge of the principles of commercial credit and the banks lending policies and standards.
Solid knowledge on cross border products with good business connection in China.
Well versed in Mandarin and English. Both Spoken and written.
