Standard Chartered Bank (China)’s Group Technology & Operations (GTO): Bankin
g Associate Programme
Have you considered a career in banking? Have you got what it takes to be Stan
dard Chartered Bank (China)’s next leaders?
Entry Requirements: You'll need a Bachelor's degree to be considered. 1 to 2 y
ears’ work experience is accepted but not necessary.
About the Programme
Our exciting 14 month programme will offer you two comprehensive rotations wit
hin Standard Chartered Bank (China)’s Operations and/or Technology functions
or GSSC China, and one stretch assignment to participate in a GTO business pro
ject or cross function project. You will also have the opportunity to rotate a
t different China cities during the programme or after your deployment.
Group Technology and Operations Role
Once you've completed 14 months of rotations and Group Technology & Operations
 training, you can expect to move into an officer role in business operations
or technology in Tianjin GSSC, Branch or Head Office.
Programme includes:
 Structured functional and soft skill training (1 month)
 2 operations and/or technology rotations in Cash, Trade Services, Loan Proces
sing Unit, Change Management, Process Management, Client Service Group, Techno
logy Service Management or Project Services (4 months each)
 1 GTO or cross function Project Assignment (5 months)
At the end of your rotations, you can expect to be able to:
Operations
 Understand the procedures and processes adopted in Wholesale Banking or Consu
mer Banking Operations in processing different bank products
 Understand the bank's approach to managing operational risks and instilling t
he principles of quality and continuous improvement into operations
 Have knowledge of the regulatory/compliance requirements of various banking p
roducts at both group and country level
 Understand management reporting and analysis on operational risks and busines
s compliance of internal operational risk standards
 Be able to recommend areas for streamlining of workflows and improvement of e
fficiency
Technology
 Understand the procedures and processes adopted in Technology
 Understand the bank's approach to managing operational risks in Technology
 To recommend areas for streamlining of workflows and improvement of efficienc
y
At the end of the stretch assignment you can expect to be able to use acquired
 project management methodology to independently deliver a stretch project wit
h specific project objectives and outcomes. In addition, a structured training
 programme will give you 2 days per month of in-house functional and soft-skil
l training and variety of exposure opportunities to senior banking management.

关于我们的项目:

我们14个月的培训项目将给你提供两个极为综合全面的技术及运营部或天津营运中心的轮
岗机会,一个集团技术及运营部的重要项目任务,以及培训项目中或毕业后在中国不同城
市轮岗的机会。

技术及运营部的角色:
当你完成了14个月的轮岗,以及集团技术及运营部的内部的培训,你将在天津渣打全球处
理中心或分行,或中国总部担当团队主任的职责。


项目包括:
 体系化的部门培训和软技能的培训。(一个月)
 两个运营和/或技术部的轮岗。在现金部,贸易服务部,贷款部,变化管理部,流程管理
部,客户服务部,技术服务部,或者项目服务部。(每个轮岗四个月)
 一个项目任务(五个月)

在所有轮岗结束,你将达成以下标准:


运营部:
 在处理不同的企业业务的产品中,理解企业业务运营的步骤和过程
 理解银行进行运营风险的管理方式,并学习将质量和持续改善的原则和方法运用到每天的
运营过程
 在中国和集团的层面上,了解监管/合规机构对不同银行产品的要求的知识
 理解对运营风险和内部运营风险规范的商业合规性的管理报表和分析报告
 能够对工作流程的改进和工作效率的提高提出有效的建议


技术部
 理解技术部工作的步骤和程序
 理解银行管理技术部运营风险的方法
 能够对工作流程的改进和工作效率的提高提出有效的建议

在拓展型作业的最后,你可以能够用所学到的项目管理的方法,独立的完成一个有明确目
标和结果的项目。而且,除了为你安排一个每月两天的系统化培训计划,包括各个部门的
知识和软技巧的培训,我们还会提供大量与银行高层管理团队交流及工作的机会。
